Aubrey is an accomplished journalist with 20 years of experience.

A native of Philadelphia, Aubrey earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and Russian Studies from McGill University, in Montreal, and a master’s in journalism from Northwestern University, in Evanston, Ill.

Aubrey is director of research and strategy for Red Propeller. Previously, he was U.S. communications officer for the Stockholm Environment Institute; a staff writer at the personal finance site NerdWallet; aerospace, real estate and tech reporter for seattlepi.com, where he also managed the site’s mobile website and was one of the site’s producers; covered several beats at The Bellingham Herald, most recently growth and transportation; and was a community reporter at The Providence Journal-Bulletin.

Aubrey is married, has two children, and enjoys Ultimate, soccer, bicycling and cooking. He lives in Seattle.
